Is Inflammation the Villain? — erinlamb

Chronic inflammation occurs when these aggressors are chronic and on going. By simply eating anti-inflammatory foods or taking anti-inflammatory drugs we are reducing the pain but not fixing the problem. We are willing to throw our money at a quick fix, but are we willing to put in the work to actually address the WHY?

We have to deal with what is *driving* the inflammation.

If we keep doing the things that cause the inflammation in the first place, it will keep coming back.

Inflammation is a process that our body uses to protect itself. Inflammation acts like an immune response to protect us. When people have autoimmune diseases, they also have highly inflammatory states. It’s kind of like “a chicken and the egg” situation… whether the inflammation gets worse because of the autoimmune disorder itself or chronic inflammation. BUT there is always a cause for why we have these disorders like colitis + symptoms like IBS. It’s important to address because chronic inflammation can lead to other health issues!

In the Good Gut Method we address the CAUSES of your inflammation. We get to the bottom of it to overcome your food sensitivities, ditch your digestive issues, boost your energy and say buh-bye to food fear so you can enjoy food you love!
